Welcome to Swop (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any themes, templates, or digital products (“Products”) available for purchase or download. By accessing the website or downloading/purchasing a Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use or access our website or Products.

3. Products, licences & usage rights

3.1 What we offer

We provide digital themes, templates, and UI components — primarily built for Rails and Bootstrap — delivered instantly upon purchase or download.

3.2 Licence terms

When you purchase or download a Product, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it in accordance with these Terms.

Unless otherwise stated, your licence allows you to:

  • Use the Product in one live project (or more if specified in the Product description).
  • Modify the Product for your own use within that project.

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or share the original Product files.
  • Publish the source files publicly (including GitHub or similar) in a way that allows others to use them.
  • Sublicence or sell the Product as your own.

3.3 Updates & support

  • Some Products may include updates; the availability of updates depends on the Product purchased.
  • Support may be offered via hello@swopthemes.com, subject to reasonable use and availability.
  • We do not guarantee compatibility with all future versions of frameworks, libraries, or third-party dependencies.

4. Ordering, payment & delivery

  • Payments must be made using the checkout methods available on the website.
  • As Products are digital, delivery is instant via download link or direct access.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the Product suits your technical environment.

5. Refunds & cancellations

Because our Products are digital and accessible immediately after purchase, refunds are generally not offered.

However, we may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

6. Intellectual property

All Products, code, assets, documentation, and branding remain the intellectual property of Swop.

You receive a licence to use the Product, not ownership of the Product.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Products or website unlawfully.
  • Redistribute, resell, or publicly share the Product files.
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract reusable components beyond the licence terms.
  • Share download links, keys, or Product files with others.

We do not guarantee that Products will be free from errors or compatible with all setups.

8.2 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, business interruption, or data loss.
  • Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the relevant Product.

9. Changes to our Products or Terms

We may update or modify Products, pricing, or these Terms at any time.

The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when changes were made.

Continued use of the website or Products after changes implies acceptance.
